By accessing or using Plix.Tools ("the Site", "we", "our", "us") at https://plix.tools, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the Site.
Plix.Tools provides a collection of free, browser-based tools and games including image converters, PDF tools, calculators, currency converter, generators, developer utilities (JSON formatter, hash generator, URL encoder/decoder, regex tester and more), productivity tools and browser games. All tools and games operate entirely within your web browser. No files or user data are uploaded to or processed on our servers.
Plix.Tools is provided free of charge, supported by advertising. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Site. We may add, remove or change tools and features at any time.
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You must not:
All content on Plix.Tools - including but not limited to the design, layout, code, text, graphics and tool interfaces - is owned by or licensed to Plix.Tools and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from any part of the Site without our express written permission.
The tools make use of open-source libraries including Lucide Icons (ISC licence) and Inter font (SIL Open Font Licence). Your use of these libraries through the Site is governed by their respective licences.
Your content: Any files, images or data you process using our tools remain entirely your own. Since all processing is client-side, we never receive, store or gain any rights over your content.
The browser games on Plix.Tools (Wordle, 2048, Minesweeper, Reaction Time Test, Sudoku) are provided for entertainment and personal use only. Game scores and progress stored in your browser’s localStorage belong to you and are not shared with us. We do not operate leaderboards or account-based game progression. Game designs and mechanics are inspired by classic games but the implementations on Plix.Tools are original works.
Games include a Share Result feature that, when activated, uses your browser’s native share sheet (mobile) or copies a result summary to your clipboard. No data is transmitted to our servers through this feature.
The Site uses third-party services including Google Analytics, Google AdSense, Google Fonts, Cloudflare Pages, the unpkg CDN for Lucide Icons, and Formspree (contact form processing). Your use of the Site is also subject to the terms and privacy policies of these providers. We are not responsible for the practices of any third-party service.
Plix.Tools is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. We do not warrant that:

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Plix.Tools and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Site or its tools, including but not limited to data loss, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Site shall not exceed zero, as the service is provided entirely free of charge.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Plix.Tools and its operators from any claims, damages, losses or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the Site in a manner not authorised by these Terms.
Plix.Tools stores certain preferences in your browser’s localStorage to improve your experience, including your dark/light mode choice (plix_theme) and recently visited tools (plix_recent_v1). These are stored solely on your device. We have no access to this data. You may clear it at any time through your browser settings. By using the Site you consent to this local storage of preferences.
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
The Site is intended for users aged 13 and over. If you are under 13, you may not use the Site. If you are between 13 and 18, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use the Site.
